Every year in late spring Wilmington turns its skating rink into an outdoor beach themed beer garden, complete with sand, boardwalk, and lounge chairs. It’s pretty fun. Last night I made my annual pilgrimage there. Sketching, drinking, and putting your toes in the sand makes for a rather enjoyable night.
While on a road trip to Maine this weekend I stopped to sketch some of the cityscape. Below is the view on Middle Street in Portland, Maine.
